Our main orchestra rehearses almost every Friday evening in Biddulph Methodist Church & Victoria Centre, Station Road, Biddulph. We have a wide range of music and accommodate beginners all the way through to very advanced players. Rehearsals take place from 6.45 - 9.15 p.m. We have an interval half way through the rehearsal where refreshments are provided. Some of our members play more than one instrument and often get the chance to use these skills in rehearsals.
We have various instruments available to loan. Any member of BDYO is entitled to free instrument loan for a minimum period of 6 months. Loans may and often run longer than 6 months however, the loan is not guaranteed after this period of time. Although our instruments are insured, members families are required to ensure their own personal home insurance is aware of the instrument and that it is covered on their policy.
